Stalin among the people in the Kremlin (our wise leader, dear teacher)

The artist is Johanson

This grandiose canvas stands among the official works that extol the cult of Stalin. As in the song for the verses of Alexei Surkov, from where the words are made, the unity of the leader with his people is sung in the picture – with everyone and each separately. After all, it is not for nothing that people gathered in the huge St. George Hall of the Kremlin are represented by artists of a multinational, colorful, but not an impersonal crowd. And even if Stalin is not literally exalted here over others (it is obvious that the artists wanted to show him the first among equals), but, of course, idealized by the pathos of the passing meeting.
